Google и 404

От няколко дни насам по блоговете на Google тече 404 week at Webmaster Central. Днес се появи и поредната статия в която се обсъжда 404 („File not found“) response.

Принципно в Google не са големи фенове на refresh meta tag, но в случая го препоръчват за използване, ако на потребителя се дадат 10 секунди в които да реши какво действие да предприеме (и Yahoo за пример)

Тъй като страниците за 404 грешки от една страна могат да носят добри доходи (някой руски сайтове са царе на това) от реклами, а от друга страна е добре да са информативни и да подпомагат потребителите, Google препоръчват няколко много добре направени 404 страници :
